"The Atlantis Adventure"

Chapter 4 "One of the Clues"

They spent a peaceful week on the island, but they still couldn't find the right thing to repair the mast. Therefore, they were still unable to set sail. 

One day, while they were searching for food in the forest, they discovered a ruin. Inside the ruin, there were four seats. One of the seats had a pattern resembling a short knife, another had a pattern like an arrow, and the other two had patterns of throwing knives and maces. It seemed to correspond to the group of Charles and his companions. In the middle of the ruin, there was an octagonal solid stone pedestal that looked like a table. On the stone pedestal, there was a strange protrusion. The eight sides of the stone pedestal were inscribed with "Atlantis Ruin". The protrusion was divided into sixteen sections by dotted and solid lines, with each four sections corresponding to one seat. There were also four corresponding patterns for the weapons of the four people. And in the middle of each dotted line, there was a circular groove. 

The others didn't understand what he meant. So Charlie and the others tried to sit in the seats corresponding to their weapons. As soon as they sat down, something strange happened. The circular protrusions on the stone platform lit up, forming a virtual figure in the air. This person waved his hand, and in front of the four of them, four screens appeared one by one. On the screens, lines of text were displayed. At the same time, this person began to speak, and what he said was exactly what was shown on the screens:

"This ruin does not exist here. It exists in a separate space, and only those with a certain destiny can discover it. Many people who wanted to find Atlantis came here, but for some reason, they never returned." 

"Then who are you?" asked Ilofin at this moment. 

This apparition said:

"I was a deity who once guarded Atlantis. Atlantis was transported to another space by a mysterious force, and I was also transported to a separate space. When I was first transported to this ruinous space, I saw Him - the master of this mysterious force. In this space, there was only me and this ruin. By chance, I comprehended a little of His power. Through His power, I glimpsed the situation on Atlantis. It had been completely transformed and became a mechanical kingdom. The original creatures there had all been replaced by mechanical life forms powered by electricity. And I found the way to bring Atlantis back from His power." 

"What method?" Charlie couldn't help asking. 

"There are two methods," the ghostly figure continued. "But no matter which method you choose, you must first find the eight-colored divine stones, namely 'white, gray, blue, green, black, cyan, red, and brown'; each representing 'heaven, thunder, water, marsh, earth, wind, fire, and soil'. After finding the eight-colored divine stones, place them in the corresponding order, placing the white one at the northernmost position, and arrange them in the grooves of the stone pedestal in a clockwise direction." 

"How do we restore what was above?" Eve asked. 

" It's still uncertain whether you can find the eight-color divine stone. Once you do find it, you will naturally know what to do next. The eight-color divine stones are all distributed on the ecliptic plane. None of the previous visitors were able to return safely after finding them. There are a large number of demonic beasts in every place, and even on the way, there are many demonic beasts. Only by awakening special abilities can you possibly break the blockade of the demonic beasts and obtain the divine stone. "
