Chapter Two "The Giant Wave"

On the first day, everything was calm and they kept sailing eastward. 

But on the second day, they encountered a huge wave. In the midst of the wave, a mast on the left side of their ship broke, and several people nearly fell into the water. The wave almost sank their ship. Fortunately, they were skilled sailors and managed to adjust the course in time, keeping the bow facing the wave crest so that the ship didn't sink.

After the wave subsided, they arrived at an island. There was no one else on the island. However, they found some drinkable water and replenished some food, then returned to the ship. But they faced another problem——the left mast of their ship was broken. There was no choice but to stay on the island for the time being and figure out a way to fix the mast. 

They had survived, but they couldn't continue their voyage.
